Hollywood has its fair share of extremely talented men and women. This influx of talents is definitely giving the judges of award-giving bodies a hard time pinning down nominees for prestigious awards. The 2016 early Oscars predictions for Best Supporting Actress suffer the same fate.
Although Awards Circuit's list was already narrowed down to the top five contenders, there are still several other amazing actresses in contention who could take the nomination spot for themselves.
According to the list, Kate Winslet for "Steve Jobs" and Rachel McAdams for "Spotlight," and Rooney Mara for "Carol" could grab a nomination. However, Jennifer Jason Leigh for "The Hateful Eight" and Julie Walters for "Brooklyn" are also strong contenders.
Elizabeth Banks ("Love & Mercy"), Meryl Streep ("Suffragate"), Kristen Stewart ("Clouds Of Sils Maria"), Amy Ryan ("Bridge Of Spies"), and Elizabeth Olsen ("I Saw The Light") round up the site's top ten shortlist.
